Canon Bridge Farm Flood Mitigation

The United Kingdom has one of the rainiest climates in the world. There is an ever-increasing rate of flash floods due to sudden high intensity rainfall events and urban sprawl. perform detailed hydrological studies to ensure the safety of new and existing developments from the possible risks of high intensity rainfall events and resulting floods. Hydrological and hydraulic studies usually serve the purpose of assessing the possible risks and hazards flood water may cause on the project area, and accordingly propose adequate solutions in that regard. TB Associates partnered with Canon Bridge Farm, farmland in Herefordshire, to perform a full flood mitigation study on potential renovations, additionally, a full structural analysis was performed. The results of the analysis were then used to design a list of required renovations that would keep the farmland safe from any potential flood.
