REPDO Solar Farms Projects

The Mahed Al Dahab, located in the Al Madinah Province, and Faysaliyah, located south of Jeddah, solar farm projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have a total area of 1.00 Km² and 59 Km², respectively. These projects are considered strategic and are planned to feed the local industries and communities with renewable, clean, green energy, and accordingly reduce the carbon dioxide emissions relative to energy production.

TB Associates was tasked with a full flood mitigation study, as well as the proposal and design of any engineering solutions. The flood mitigation study started with a full hydrological assessment and analysis of existing and post-development scenarios, then a full hydraulic assessment and analysis was done. After the completion of the hydrological and hydraulic assessments, a flood risk assessment was completed before the design of an internal drainage system of the project area to mitigate the effect of any local flooding.
