Shobdon Wastewater Treatment Plant
Work on a £1.3 million upgrade of Shobdon Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) in Herefordshire. The design and build project involved replacing and modifying the infrastructure at each stage of the treatment process, including new primary and humus settlement tanks to be constructed using innovative pre-cast concrete methods. TB Associates was hired by the local council to identify any improvements needed for the plant. TB Associates' water and environmental engineering team modeled the treatment plan and then designed improvements to the plant in conjunction with local authorities.
